Entrance matting is the engineered barrier at the threshold of a building that scrapes, traps and holds the dirt and moisture carried in on foot — before it reaches the interior floor finish. In a commercial building it protects the floor, reduces cleaning cost, and cuts the slip risk on wet days.

An effective system is designed in zones: a coarse scraper zone at the outermost edge, an absorbent wiper zone to lift moisture, and a finishing zone before the clean interior floor. Korb's Rohre matting delivers all three through Forbo Coral textile inserts set into a rigid aluminium or brass frame.

Rohre is available recessed — set into a matwell so the surface sits flush with the surrounding floor — or surface-mounted with a ramped edge for retrofits. The Brush insert maximises scraping action, the Classic insert balances scrape and wipe, and the Oasis insert prioritises moisture absorption.

Every system is available supply-only or as a full supply-and-install package, with the matwell set-out and finished depth detailed up front so it lands flush at handover.
