Tadao is one continuous piece of solid brass, the anti-slip pattern formed straight into the metal in Corrugated or Striped profiles: no insert to wear, lift or replace. Surface Mount and Recessed, for the projects where the stair detail is permanent. Tested to AS 4586; designed to AS 1428.1.

Each insert shows mean dry / wet LRV; the scale plots the dry figure. Both are from the Korb product data sheet and the 2025 stair nosing brochure. Contrast is measured between the nosing and the surface around it: the further apart the two sit on this scale, the more contrast you get. A minimum of 30% luminance contrast is required under AS 1428.1. Confirm the figure for your tread before you specify.
