Stone tactiles as the paving palette intended. Kahn Modular pavers are cut from rugged granite and bluestone, each paver one piece of stone with nothing inserted or fixed into the walking surface, with Ivory and Black Granite options to satisfy luminance-contrast requirements. For the streetscapes and civic projects where the tactile has to belong to the paving and take a constant battering. Tested to AS 4586; designed to AS 1428.4.1.

Mean dry LRV plotted, from the Kahn® Modular product data sheet; wet values listed alongside. AS 1428.4.1 requires a minimum 45% luminance contrast against the adjoining surface, so the finish must be chosen against the actual floor, not in isolation.
